ELD Watch is not affiliated with FMCSA and is not legal advice. Devices on the registered list are self-certified by the provider. FMCSA does not endorse them.

- https://eldwatch.com/compare/motive-vs-garmin-elog — Motive vs Garmin eLog. Motive does not publish an ELD price. Garmin lists $249.99 USD for part 010-01876-00 and states subscription fees are none. That page does not name an FMCSA ELD ID.
- https://eldwatch.com/compare/geotab-vs-samsara — Geotab vs Samsara. Geotab says GO plan hardware is included and lists no dollar price. Samsara lists no dollar price. Geotab Inc. and Samsara Inc. have only registered rows on this export.
- https://eldwatch.com/compare/cheapest-eld-options — Cheapest ELD options. There is no cheapest pick. Garmin part 010-01876-00 lists $249.99 USD. Motive, Samsara, Geotab, BigRoad, EROAD, and Azuga do not publish an ELD price on the pages checked October 21, 2026.

## Limits

- FMCSA's public registered-device export does not include a registration date. registrationDate is null on every device.
- Phone numbers, email addresses, and mailing addresses from the export are not copied into this dataset. They remain on the FMCSA list pages linked as sourceUrl.
- A price or contract term is stored only when data/pricing.json cites the vendor's own public page. Every other device stays unpublished. Nothing is estimated.
- Exact duplicate export rows (same device name, model, ELD ID, and company) are collapsed. duplicateRowsCollapsed counts the extras.
- Out-of-service deadlines come only from dates FMCSA wrote in its news posts. This dataset does not add 60 days on its own.
